Job Title: Power Station Operations Team Member

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in process operations and maintenance, with experience in operating and maintaining plant equipment. You will also have a good understanding of health and safety regulations and environmental legislation.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all plants
  • Maintaining a high level of safety standards
  • Carrying out day-to-day activities such as monitoring, assessing, testing, and operating plant equipment
  • Operation and maintenance of the power plant in line with strict safety, environmental, commercial, and chemical requirements
  • Supporting the shift operations team in day-to-day activities
  • Maintaining a shift operations record and submitting reports as required
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of procedures and systems for plant operations, testing and related activities

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in process operations and maintenance
  • A strong background in control and instrumentation, electrical or mechanical fitting
  • Relevant Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) tickets and qualifications
  • A good working knowledge of health and safety and environmental legislation and standards
