Public Sector Energy Efficiency Specialist

This role offers a unique opportunity to support public bodies in achieving their energy targets. Our client provides assistance through a partnership approach, and we are seeking a skilled professional to help deliver an annual calendar of events, training, and support services.


Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated Public Sector Energy Efficiency Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in supporting the development, implementation, and scaling up of schemes to improve energy efficiency and reduce emissions in the public sector.


Main Responsibilities
  • Support the development, implementation, and scaling up of energy efficiency schemes to improve public sector facilities.
  • Work closely with public bodies to provide technical guidance and support on retro-commissioning and O&M best practices.

Key Requirements
  • A degree (NFQ level 7 or greater) or equivalent qualification in a relevant field such as engineering, science, or building services.
  • At least three years' experience working in this or a related sector, preferably with project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentation.
  • Well-developed IT skills, including proficiency in software applications relevant to the role.
