We are currently seeking a talented Programme Executive to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in the development and implementation of programmes that support public bodies in achieving energy targets.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and scaling up of schemes to improve energy efficiency and reduce emissions across public sector organizations. You will work closely with our client to deliver annual calendars of events, training, and support services.

In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on reducing carbon emissions and improving the sustainability of public sector buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development, implementation, and scaling up of schemes to improve energy efficiency and reduce emissions across public sector organizations.
  • Work closely with our client to deliver annual calendars of events, training, and support services.
Essential Requirements
  • A degree (minimum NFQ Level 7 or greater) or equivalent qualification in a relevant technical discipline such as engineering, science, or building services.
  • A minimum of three years' directly relevant experience working in this or a related sector or in a similar role (postgraduate studies may be included).
  • Experience managing projects involving a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • A good understanding of energy efficiency, sustainability, and/or energy management in industry, commercial, and/or public sectors.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (including report writing, presenting, and public speaking) with an ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Well-developed IT skills.
Desirable Requirements
  • A qualification in project management.
  • Knowledge of relevant directives and standards, e.g., energy performance of buildings directive, Irish building regulations.
  • Experience of energy-related decarbonization, energy management systems/energy efficient design, and/or measurement and verification protocols.
  • Experience of budgeting and cost management.
  • Experience or knowledge of delivering positive customer experiences.
