Energy Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Specialist to drive energy efficiency and sustainability across our operations.

This role is pivotal in implementing and maintaining our Energy Management System, aligned with ISO 50001 standards.

  • Conduct detailed energy data analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Manage procurement processes and engage with utility providers.
  • Provide coaching on energy management practices across teams.
  • Develop energy forecasting models for operational planning.
  • Oversee energy use and performance data management systems.
  • Design electrical systems with energy efficiency in mind.
  • Research and develop innovative energy-saving strategies.
  • Manage energy aspects of site setup, including metering and monitoring.
  • Perform carbon assessments and develop reduction strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Sustainability team to align energy goals with environmental objectives.
  • Support exemplar projects with energy expertise.
  • Drive energy efficiency in transport and construction machinery.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with ISO 50001 and energy analytics.
  • Data management and analysis skills.
  • Understanding of utility services and infrastructure.
  • Experience in research related to energy systems.
  • Proficiency in site energy measurement tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of carbon management strategies.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset.
