Energy Efficiency Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team and support Ireland's national Climate Action Plan. The role involves providing technical support and administrative assistance for domestic energy grant schemes, helping to deliver energy efficiency improvements across Irish homes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Construction or Engineering and excellent IT and communication skills. This position is suitable for recent graduates or individuals looking to transition from fieldwork to a more office-based role.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support and respond to queries from contractors, applicants, and members of the public.
- Liaise with stakeholders including field staff and scheme administrators.
- Assist with the processing of technical appeals and rework cases.
- Handle technical calls regarding inspections and contractor queries.
- Compile and support the preparation of weekly and monthly reports.
- Attend regular meetings related to scheme performance and delivery.
- Offer technical input for field-based staff where needed.
- Degree, trade qualification, or equivalent in Construction, Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong IT and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Good judgement and ability to resolve customer queries effectively.
- High motivation and attention to detail.
- Willingness to adapt to evolving program requirements.
