Energy Efficiency Specialist

We are seeking an Energy Efficiency Specialist to join our team in a role that focuses on reducing energy and carbon consumption through strategic planning and implementation of best practices.
The main objectives of this position include:
- Monitoring and reporting on energy consumption in various premises, identifying areas of improvement and opportunities for reduction.
- Supporting the development and implementation of energy awareness and education programs, focusing on behavior change and sustainability.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain energy management systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Providing data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders, including energy usage patterns, trends, and forecasts.
- Developing and implementing action plans to reduce energy consumption, including energy audits, retrofits, and other initiatives.
Key responsibilities also include:
- Building relationships with key stakeholders, including hospital, finance, maintenance, and estates managers, to promote energy efficiency and sustainability.
- Supporting the development and implementation of sustainable procurement practices, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and policies.
- Providing training and education to staff on energy efficiency and sustainability, promoting a culture of conservation and environmental stewardship.
- Collaborating with external partners and experts to stay up-to-date on the latest energy efficiency technologies and best practices.
- Reviewing and analyzing data from various sources, including metered energy and water usage, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
