Job Opportunity

The position of Consultant Radiologist involves providing a comprehensive radiology service, encompassing plain film, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and fluoroscopy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Generating timely and accurate radiology reports
  • Executing image-guided procedures (biopsies, drainages, etc.)
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Collaborating with referring clinicians to optimize patient care and diagnostic strategy

To be successful, the candidate must possess:

  • Professional registration as a Consultant in the Specialist Division of the Medical Council of Ireland, in the Specialty of Radiology
  • A minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience in general radiology, including 2 years in specialty training
  • Demonstrate proficiency in English language

Desirable skills and attributes include subspecialty interest aligned with hospital needs, proven ability to work within multidisciplinary teams, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and willingness to engage in service development and quality assurance.
