Job Description:

As a Sales Estimator, you will be responsible for supporting the wider Irish sales team in reviewing paperwork, attending post-tender meetings and optimizing the sales process. This role requires strong administration and/or sales experience, excellent organization and communication skills, as well as intermediate use of Microsoft Suite.

Key responsibilities include liaising with internal departments to validate cost, review agreements and assist in preparing accurate estimates for the entire company portfolio. You will also assist the team in bid preparation, compile support documentation and other technical submissions, deliver commercial bids, proposals and quotations while tracking and managing submission deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an administrative and/or sales role, with a self-motivated nature to offer proactive support to the wider sales team. An understanding of technical engineering or pre-sales processes, including cost estimations/quotations, is desirable but not necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in an administrative and/or sales role
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Intermediate use of Microsoft Suite (especially Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Self-motivated nature to offer proactive support to the wider sales team
  • Understanding of technical engineering or pre-sales processes, including cost estimations/quotations (desirable)
