We are seeking a skilled professional to join our manufacturing operations team as a Downstream Manufacturing Bioprocess Associate.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to work in a fast-paced biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment. As a Downstream Manufacturing Bioprocess Associate, you will be responsible for supporting the ongoing manufacturing operations within the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with the manufacturing operations group and project design team to facilitate the implementation of project designs and validation of the manufacturing facility.
  • Creation of operating procedures and other relevant documentation for large-scale manufacturing.
  • Execution of commercial manufacturing processes according to established work instructions.
  • Adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Taking part in investigations and optimizations of processes using scientific, engineering, and lean principles.
  • Operating all production equipment within the assigned functional area.
  • Effectively using process automation systems and supporting business systems.
  • Assisting with reviewing batch and exception reports for each manufacturing lot in conjunction with Quality representative and providing input to related investigations and QA audit activities.
  • Engaging in and supporting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence through ownership of improvement for work processes, equipment, and safe work environment.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of Level 6 qualification in an Engineering/Science related discipline or relevant experience in a similar regulated industry.
  • Ideal experience in a large-scale biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility with knowledge of Delta V and MES.
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving ability and adherence to scheduled timelines.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a cross-functional collaborative environment.
