Job Title: ML Engineering Director

We are seeking a seasoned engineering leader to oversee the development and deployment of cutting-edge AI/ML solutions. The ideal candidate will lead a team of machine learning engineers in building innovative products that drive business growth.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Guide a team of machine learning engineers in model development, deployment, testing, and evaluation of existing and emerging deep learning methods and technologies.
  • Collaborate with the team to apply the latest architectures and technologies to build industry-leading products and solve complex NLP challenges.
  • Foster a deep understanding within the team of the technologies, methods, and architecture used in product development.
  • Define, improve, and assist the team with existing model training, evaluation, and online inferencing processes.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, physics, statistics, econometrics, operations research, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of relevant professional experience with a Bachelor's degree; 5-7 years with a Master's degree; or 5+ years with a PhD.
  • Experience in leading and managing machine learning engineering teams.
  • Experience in researching, developing, fine-tuning, and deploying large language models in production environments.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience developing and deploying large-scale document understanding models in production.
  • Experience with pre-training and/or supervised fine-tuning of transformer-based models using large-scale datasets.
  • Experience in the latest NLP techniques including LLMs and language representations.
