Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive Health & Safety professional to lead compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards while fostering a strong prevention-focused safety culture across multiple construction, pharmaceutical, and industrial insulation projects nationwide.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and have a proven track record of maintaining safe working practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead site audits, inspections, and statutory checks for equipment, work areas, and high-risk activities.
  • Maintain all EHS documentation, permits, and compliance records to ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Enforce Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), Risk Assessments, and Permit to Work systems.
  • Monitor and supervise safe work practices, including working at heights, confined space entry, hot works, and handling of insulation materials.
  • Identify, assess, and implement risk controls related to thermal insulation materials.
Requirements:
  • Third-level qualification in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years on-site safety experience in construction, pharmaceutical, or industrial sectors.
  • Safe Pass and Manual Handling certifications.
  • Strong working knowledge of Irish health & safety legislation and industry regulations.
