Junior Health and Safety Officer Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Health and Safety Officer to work on health and safety initiatives in Cork. As a key member of the health and safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being of all personnel on-site.

About the Role:
  • Assist in organizing training sessions and preparing necessary documents.
  • Work effectively both on-site and office-based.
  • Conduct Tool Box Talks and Health and Safety Inductions.
  • Maintain ISO Standards and ensure compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support Senior Health & Safety Personnel in maintaining a safe working environment.
  2. Promote a strong safety culture on site through regular inspections and risk assessments.
  3. Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Relevant Qualification (e.g., NEBOSH or IOSH certification).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Experience in Health and Safety is desired but not essential.
