Behaviour Specialist Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will work with adults in a well-established Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit based in Ireland, supporting individuals with complex support needs.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Functional Assessments and develop Multi-Element Behaviour Support Plans (MEBSPs) to support individuals with their behaviour.
  • Teach new skills and improve overall quality of life through collaboration with relevant others.
  • Promote Positive Behaviour Support across the organization by ensuring that all MEBSPs meet regulatory standards and are implemented effectively.
  • Quality check Personal Plans for each individual as per policy and provide structured quality improvement plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Psychology Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • MSc ABA or equivalent degree.
  • BCBA preferred but not essential.
