We are seeking an experienced Financial Director to lead our financial operations and drive business growth.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of managing finance teams, leading strategic planning, and driving business performance. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, ensuring effective communication, problem-solving, and ownership culture.
  • Strategic Planning: Support the development of business strategies and operating models that align with organizational goals.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Provide timely and accurate financial reporting, forecasts, and analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow, treasury, and working capital to optimize balance sheet efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Degree/master's in business/accounting; Qualified Accountant with 8+ years post-qualification experience.
  • Experience: Prior Financial Controller experience in a commercial contracting environment, preferably in the utilities sector.
  • Skills: Strong leadership skills, ability to work collaboratively with management teams, and comfortable with SAP(S4/Hana).

  • Benefits Package: Monday to Friday (39 hour working week), 22 days annual leave plus 10 bank holidays.
