Psychologist Opportunities

Clinical psychologists are invited to contribute their expertise to a dynamic team within the Community Healthcare Organisation Dublin North City and County. We seek highly skilled professionals who can deliver comprehensive psychological assessments and interventions for children and adolescents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality therapeutic services that cater to the diverse needs of our clients.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to design and implement tailored care plans.
  • Provide consultation, clinical supervision, and support to team members and trainee psychologists.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with service protocols.
  • Contribute to service development, policy implementation, and ongoing quality improvement.
  • Stay current with the latest research and best practices in child and adolescent psychology.
  • Develop and deliver training and psychoeducational programs for families and professionals.
  • Uphold the ethical standards of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) and other regulatory bodies.
Essential Requirements:
  • Postgraduate qualification in Clinical or Educational Psychology (must be validated by the Department of Health in Ireland).
  • Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in a clinical setting.
  • Eligibility for registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI).
  • Strong assessment and therapeutic skills across a variety of clinical presentations.
  • Experience supporting children and adolescents with complex mental health needs.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
  • Previous experience in a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS).
  • Training in specific therapeutic approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, systemic therapy).
  • Experience delivering training or psychoeducation to families or professionals.
