Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Retail Operations Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the management team to achieve sales and profit targets through effective stock control, inventory management, and cash handling procedures.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by providing timely assistance, resolving queries, and addressing complaints in a professional manner.
  • Lead by example, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of retail staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Develop and implement innovative ideas for advertising, sales promotion, and display plans to drive business growth and increase brand visibility.
  • Manage controllable costs to maintain profitable operations, identify areas for cost reduction, and implement strategies to minimize waste.
  • Maintain store appearance and ensure it meets company standards, including merchandising, visual displays, and overall store environment.
  • Collaborate with the HR department to recruit, select, train, and develop new employees, ensuring a smooth onboarding process and effective integration into the team.
  • Organize special promotions, events, and campaigns to drive foot traffic, increase sales, and enhance customer engagement.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years of retail management experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment with fresh foods.
  • Proven ability to use retail IT systems to analyze stock and sales trends, identify opportunities for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional leadership and people skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure situations, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
