The role involves planning, organizing and completing tasks to ensure client engagement requirements are met, including adherence to monthly and quarterly reporting deadlines.

Strong technical accounting skills, including tax, financial reporting and financial statements, are essential for this position.

The successful candidate will have experience managing people, strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

This is a mid-senior level role requiring a partly qualified accountant working towards fully qualified status (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and a university degree in accounting or business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Provide guidance, training and mentoring to team members, set goals and monitor performance.
  • Client Engagement: Plan, organize and complete tasks to ensure client engagement requirements are met, including adherence to monthly and quarterly reporting deadlines.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly/quarterly/annual cash management, management and statutory financial information for clients and auditors.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all regulatory and compliance requirements are met for assigned portfolio of clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Partly Qualified Accountant: Working towards fully qualified status (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
  • University Degree: In accounting or business.
  • Technical Accounting Skills: Strong skills in tax, financial reporting and financial statements.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
