Quality Assurance Engineer

Role Overview:

Cork, County Cork, Ireland Operations and Supply Chain

Job Description:

- Develop and implement effective test processes for Apple Mac and iOS products.

- Create and maintain factory test software to ensure high-quality product delivery.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams worldwide to drive process improvement and optimisation.

- Analyze data to inform key performance metrics and drive business decisions.

- Provide direction and support to Regional technician and production trainer teams.

- Participate in new projects for global implementation.

Requirements:
  • B.Eng (Hons), M.Eng in Electronic / Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification, completed from 2023 onwards.
  • A minimum of a 2.1 (Hons) degree is required.
Preferred Skills:
  • Hardware failure analysis skills
  • Problem solving, communication and documentation skills
  • Familiarity with Apple hardware and software technologies
  • Ideally, experience in scripting languages such as UNIX shell, Perl, and/or Python.
  • MS Excel, data skills and experience with statistical analysis
  • Telecoms/Networking knowledge would be useful
