Test Engineer Job Description

This is a challenging role that involves creating and testing factory test software for Apple Mac and iOS products.


The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and implementing automated product testing processes, as well as driving key performance metrics such as yield, UPH, order cycle time, cost, scrap, DPPM, and CPK.

They will also be able to provide direction and support to regional technician and production trainer teams, analyze data, and create documentation.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Hons), Master of Engineering in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or equivalent Third Level qualification.
  • Completed in 2025 or later with a minimum 2.1 degree.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Hardware failure analysis skills.
  • Problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with Apple hardware and software technologies.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as UNIX shell, Perl, and/or Python.
  • MS Excel, data analysis, and statistical knowledge.
  • Telecoms/Networking knowledge would be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities
