Job Description

OASIS Group is seeking a highly motivated Senior Speech & Language Therapist to join our team in delivering high-quality services to children with disabilities.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and intervening with children aged 0-18 years with physical, sensory, learning disabilities, developmental delay, and autism. The role involves working with children in special schools and providing clinical supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing speech and language therapy services to meet the needs of children with disabilities
  • Conducting assessments, diagnostics, and interventions to support child development
  • Supervising and mentoring junior therapists to ensure excellent service delivery
  • Collaborating with other professionals to provide holistic support to children and their families
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting on service outcomes

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration as a Speech & Language Therapist with CORU
  • At least 3 years of post-qualification clinical experience working with children with disabilities
  • A high standard of suitability and professional ability to discharge the duties of the office
  • Annual registration on the Speech & Language Therapists Register maintained by CORU
  • Valid driving license and access to own transport for delivering services across a large geographical area
  • Postgraduate training and experience in Management of FEDS Disorders and relevant training specific to 0-18 years
  • Experience in conducting Assessment of Need and relevant training in the assessment and intervention of children with autism
