The role of a Team Lead in Care and Development is to support the growth and management of a team of motivated, compassionate Carers. This position requires exceptional leadership skills to oversee and assist in delivering high-quality care to vulnerable people.
Duties & Responsibilities:- Manage carer on-boarding, rosters, training, and overall welfare with guidance from Regional Managers and the Support Office.
- Conduct 20-hour Carer Induction Training using established training programs.
- Monitor daily activities using software like One Touch Care Management, ensuring compliance and safeguarding at every level.
- Communicate closely with the Support Office regarding scheduling, client care, and communication protocols.
- Identify, monitor, and manage training needs within the team, implementing career development paths aligned with organizational HR strategies.
- Ensure Client Quality Assurance reviews are conducted and recorded according to Platinum Homecare and regulatory standards.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Leadership and management experience in healthcare or social care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
- Skills in conflict resolution and problem-solving
