**Job Title:** Senior Technical Director

The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for leading the technical design and implementation of complex projects. As a Senior Technical Director, you will oversee the development of proposals to communicate our approach to clients and highlight expertise in planning and designing facilities for the life sciences industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Conceptual Designs: Interpret building programs and generate varied design concepts that meet client requirements.
  • Collaborate with Clients: Communicate directly with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their expectations.
  • Lead Project Teams: Supervise project design teams, checking progress and alerting managers to changes in scope or additional services.
  • Mentor Design Staff: Assist in mentoring, educating, and developing design staff and act as a resource for design and industry questions.
Requirements:
  • 10+ Years of Experience: In architectural design experience in the designated specialty (Lab Architect or Process Architect).
  • Life Sciences Industry Experience: +8 years required.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) Degree from an accredited University or College; registered architect (RA) and AIA/NAAB/NCARB membership/accreditation preferred.
