Mental Health Professional
Description:This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced mental health professional to work in an acute day hospital role. We are seeking a skilled individual who is passionate about community services and has a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Nursing care of acute mental health conditions in a day hospital setting
- Effective management of medications, ensuring patient safety and well-being
- Carry out thorough nursing assessments to inform treatment plans
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Participate in group work sessions to promote patient engagement and empowerment
- Registered Psychiatric Nurse (NMBI) qualification with at least 3 years of post-registration experience
- Desirable: Group work experience and acute care experience working as a mental health nurse in Ireland
- Availability to work a minimum of 3 days per week to ensure continuity of care
