Expert Packaging Category Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Packaging Category Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining in-depth expertise on materials, production technologies, performance characteristics, and supplier landscapes.
- Developing packaging solutions for projects requiring new packaging specifications;
- Leading standardization and rationalization efforts across global packaging specifications within assigned categories;
This position requires strong technical expertise in packaging innovation, material optimization, and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of robust, first-time-right packaging specifications.
- Identifying strategic suppliers and converters for categories;
- Managing technical relationships, qualification processes, and ensuring materials and components meet performance, quality, and sustainability standards;
- University degree in packaging engineering, materials science, chemical engineering, or a related technical field;
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in packaging development or category management;
- Deep technical expertise in packaging innovation, material optimization, and regulatory compliance;
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects in global, matrixed environments;
