Retail Packaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Packaging Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our packaging team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective and efficient design, construction, and commercialization of our packaging solutions.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of consumer packaging design principles, as well as expertise in working with packaging suppliers and their capabilities. Additionally, they will have experience of working within different operating models, including direct sourcing and nominations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement packaging solutions that meet business objectives and drive growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure delivery of high-quality packaging materials and services.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform packaging strategy and innovation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar packaging role, preferably in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Expert knowledge of packaging design principles and industry regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
