Manufacturing Process Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer to support the launch of our new European manufacturing site. This is a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in implementing, characterizing, and qualifying manufacturing processes for replicate equipment used in scaling up new or existing products.

Your primary focus will be on improving, optimizing, and implementing manufacturing processes and procedures for equipment within a regulated quality system. You will lead or support equipment/process qualifications, including protocol development and execution. Additionally, you will develop and maintain project timelines, providing updates to leadership.

  • Develop and implement sound engineering principles to optimize manufacturing processes and improve product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient manufacturing processes.
  • Lead or support equipment/process qualifications, including protocol development and execution.
  • Analyze data statistically and present findings to technical teams.
  • Transfer process knowledge to operations teams and provide technical training.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field, with 8+ years of experience; or Master's degree with 5+ years; or PhD with 2+ years.
  • Proven ability to manage self-directed projects, maintain timelines, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation; JMP, Statgraphics, or Minitab experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

This role requires travel, with approximately 15-25% of time spent on business trips.
