Market Operations Specialist needed for a permanent contract with a hybrid working model in place. This exciting opportunity is based in Limerick and requires strong experience and understanding of the Irish electricity market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage timelines, prepare documentation, and submit auction submissions to ensure company objectives are met.

  • Coordinate with commercial and field operations teams to engage clients and install equipment to meet relevant market timelines.

  • Register, deregister, and modify electricity market units as required.

  • Prepare pre-testing documentation and execute compliance testing.

  • Liaise with stakeholders to manage portfolio and maintain compliance with electricity market obligations.

  • Represent the business at domestic and international forums.

Requirements:

  • Previous relevant experience in the electricity industry.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a pragmatic approach.

  • Strong communication skills to summarise complex material succinctly.

  • A good understanding of policy and regulatory matters pertaining to the Irish electricity market.
