Child Therapist Team Lead

About the Role:
The post holder will be assigned to The Alders Unit, a specialist child sexual abuse service. This role contributes to the overall management and leadership of the service while undertaking clinical work.
The ideal candidate will possess skills, knowledge, and adaptability to work in The Alders Unit as part of the management team. This includes providing supervision and line management to therapists/staff members employed in the service.
Essential Criteria:
- Hold a recognised post graduate qualification in Psychotherapy and be registered as a full member with a relevant Psychotherapy body.
- Have at least seven years' experience working therapeutically in a clinical setting, including hours spent in clinical training.
- Have a minimum of four years experience of working directly with children, including substantial and demonstrable experience working clinically with children, adolescents who have experienced harm or neglect as well as their parents/carers/families.
- Have relevant experience of working in a managerial capacity and in the provision of supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- To contribute to the overall management and leadership of The Alders Unit.
- To undertake clinical work and provide high-quality therapeutic services to children and families.
- To provide supervision and line management to therapists/staff members employed in the service.
