This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with mental health challenges, empowering them to live independently and engage fully in their communities.

As a Housing Support Worker, you will work collaboratively with HSE Adult Mental Health Services to provide support for independent living and ongoing post-settlement assistance. Key responsibilities include assessing clients referred by HSE mental health services, developing personalized support plans, and providing regular post-settlement support through home visits.

Additional duties will include conducting assessments, reviews, and support plan development, establishing connections with local services and community groups, and aligning with Focus Ireland and Creating Foundations objectives.

To be successful in this role, you will require a relevant Third Level qualification in social care or related fields, experience in social care or supported housing projects, and experience supporting individuals with mental health diagnoses. Desirable criteria include lived experience, advocacy for vulnerable client groups, and report writing and IT skills.
