Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced professional to lead our Azure Cloud Engineering team. As Azure Cloud Engineering and Hosting Lead, you will have ultimate accountability for the strategy, development, lifecycle management, delivery, cost, and efficacy of the Pfizer Azure Cloud environment.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for the adoption and deployment of Microsoft Azure cloud services across the organization.
  2. Lead a team of cloud engineers, developers, and product specialists to design, build, and deliver native cloud capabilities for all of Pfizer to consume.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services with existing infrastructure and applications.
  4. Maintain expertise in cloud security, compliance, and governance to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data.
  5. Develop and manage key performance indicators to measure the success of the Azure Cloud team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in an enterprise IT setting, preferably in a highly regulated industry such as banking/financials or healthcare/pharmaceuticals.
  • Expert-level knowledge of and experience with Cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
