Key Role: Process Engineer

At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to support the commissioning, qualification and start-up of a new API facility.

Job Overview

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the new facility. You will work closely with operations teams to capture their input and generate documentation to support projects.

The successful candidate will have a primary degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry or a related science degree, with 2+ years of experience in the Chemical/Pharmaceutical industry. You should have familiarity and experience of working within this sector, as well as knowledge of API/small molecule manufacture.

Responsibilities
  • Ownership of systems during commissioning, qualification and facility start-up
  • Operations support for equipment and automation commissioning and qualification teams
  • Generation and update of documentation to support projects
  • Engagement with operations shift team to capture their input for the safe and efficient operation of the new facility
Requirements
  • Primary degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry or a related science degree with 2+ years experience
  • Familiarity and experience of working within the Chemical / Pharmaceutical industry and knowledge of API/small molecule manufacture
  • Technical writing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word
  • Ability to communicate directly and work effectively as part of a team

Preferred requirements include strong equipment knowledge for small molecule manufacture, Emerson Delta V experience, commissioning and validation experience, strong verbal and written communication, thoroughness, diligence and attention to detail.
