Warehouse Operative Job Overview

As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our warehouse and delivery services. Your responsibilities will include picking and preparing customer orders, assisting with next-day delivery fulfillment, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Picking and Packing: Accurately select and prepare customer orders for dispatch, adhering to high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Van Driving: Safely transport goods between locations, ensuring timely and secure delivery.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean and well-organized, consistently following health and safety protocols.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory checks and support effective stock control procedures.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse and dispatch teams to ensure timely and precise order fulfillment.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Valid counterbalance forklift license and experience in warehouse operations.
  • Driving License: Full EU driving license with confidence in van driving and previous experience in a similar role.
  • Warehouse Experience: Familiarity with general warehouse duties, particularly those involving a blend of operations and driving.
  • Physical Demands: Physical capability to manage the demands of warehouse work, including lifting and equipment operation.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail in inventory handling and order preparation.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, allowing for efficient management of tasks and adherence to deadlines.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills, enabling smooth coordination within a team and with other departments.
