We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious skip driver to operate skip lorries for the collection and delivery of skips across residential and commercial sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate skip lorries, collecting general waste, recycling, and compost bins in line with scheduled routes
  • Ensure safe loading/unloading and secure transportation of materials, conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
  • Maintain accurate records of collections and deliveries, providing friendly and professional service to customers and the public
Requirements:
  • Valid C Licence (HGV Class 2)
  • CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
  • Minimum 21 years old due to insurance requirements
  • Previous experience in waste collection or skip driving is preferred, with good knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work independently, with a commitment to health & safety and environmental standards

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a flexible approach to working hours.
