Senior Automation Engineer - Building Management Systems

We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of building management systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation engineering, with expertise in PLCs, HMI configuration, and industrial communication protocols.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement building management systems for our facilities worldwide.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems and processes.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including system designs, specifications, and testing procedures.
  • Provide training and support to operations personnel on system operation and maintenance.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in automation engineering, preferably in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming languages (e.g., S7 1500s) and HMI configuration tools (e.g., WinCC).
  • Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., BacNet/IP, Modbus, OPC DA & UA).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
