Lead Mechanical Project Engineer Role

This key position requires an experienced Lead Mechanical Project Engineer to oversee the planning and delivery of complex mechanical projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Provide strategic leadership for a team of engineers and technicians working on large-scale mechanical construction projects.
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, piping isometrics, and P&IDs to resolve technical queries and ensure project deliverables meet required standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Foster effective relationships with construction managers, area engineers, and other stakeholders to coordinate project activities, prioritize tasks, and manage resource allocation.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly assess project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely completion and within budget.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Building Services/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 3+ years' experience as a Mechanical Project Engineer in a similar field.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, piping systems, and associated regulations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
