Job Title: Engineering Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Team Leader to oversee the activities of equipment technicians during assigned shifts. This role involves supervising, coordinating tasks, ensuring they are completed safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 7/8 qualification and a minimum of 5-8 years of related experience. Supervisory experience in a similar role is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of equipment technicians.
  • Manage equipment and monitor line performance through specific maintenance KPI's.
  • Review Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) activities in Maximo.
  • Delegate preventative maintenance tasks and oversee corrective maintenance activities.
  • Review and approve technician time and attendance records as required.
  • Coordinate or conduct technician training as needed to maintain skill levels and support development.
  • Work closely alongside Production Supervisor to ensure smooth and effective shift operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Typically requires a Level 7/8 qualification and a minimum of 5-8 years of related experience.
  • Supervisory experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Ability to read, analyse, and interpret common scientific and technical documents.
  • Ability to write routine reports, shift reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisors, engineers and managers.
