Key Responsibilities:

The Healthcare Diagnostic Professional will perform diagnostic imaging examinations using X-ray, CT, MRI, and other radiographic equipment, prioritising patient safety and comfort.

  1. Selecting the most suitable imaging techniques and accurately positioning patients for examination.
  2. Maintaining and operating imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  3. Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate imaging interpretations.
  4. Adhering to hospital policies, protocols, and regulatory standards.
  5. Maintaining accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
  6. Providing high-quality patient care and effective communication with patients and their families.
Requirements:

To excel in this role, candidates must:

  • Possess a degree or diploma in Radiography from a reputable institution.
  • Be CORU registered.
  • Showcase proven experience in diagnostic imaging, including X-ray, CT, and MRI.
  • Be flexible to work various shifts.
  • Hold a full driving license and access to own car (desirable).
  • Reside in Ireland and hold the right to work in Ireland without restriction.
  • Complete Garda Vetting.
  • Supply International Police Clearance if required due to previous international residence.
