Design and Technical Support Specialist

About the Job:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Architectural Technologist to join our team in Cork. As a key member of the engineering design team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and design expertise on various industrial projects.

  • Preparing tender documentation and construction drawings
  • Conducting building and site surveys
  • Preparing planning applications

Key Responsibilities:

As a Design and Technical Support Specialist, you will work closely with our engineering team to deliver high-quality design solutions. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with engineers to develop and implement design concepts
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance on project-related matters
  • Developing and maintaining technical knowledge and skills

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Degree or equivalent in Architectural Technology/Construction/Engineering
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience with REVIT software
  • Excellent technical knowledge and draughting skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of current Irish Building Regulations
