We are currently seeking a Registered General Nurse to join our Community Intervention Team.


About the Role:

Responsibilities:
  • Administration of IV antibiotics is a key aspect of this role, requiring close attention to detail and adherence to guidelines.
  • A range of skills will be utilized for acute anticoagulation management, including assessment, treatment and monitoring.
  • Urinary related care involves the administration of SpC care and flushes, as well as other interventions as required.
  • Ostomy Care requires strong nursing skills and a focus on patient comfort and dignity.
  • Medication Management is a critical component of this role, involving the administration of medications and monitoring for side effects.
  • Enhanced Nurse Monitoring involves working closely with patients to identify and manage any changes or concerns.
  • Care of patients with respiratory illness requires a strong understanding of respiratory conditions and the ability to provide supportive care.
  • Acute wound care and dressings involve assessing wounds, applying dressings and promoting healing.

Requirements:
  • NMBI registration is essential, with a minimum of one year's post-registration experience in an acute setting.
  • Oncology experience is highly desirable, although not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for this role, which involves working with patients, families and healthcare professionals.
  • Technical and Professional expertise is also essential, with a focus on staying up-to-date with best practices and guidelines.
