Job Description

As a Payroll Associate at Puro Accountancy Ltd, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our payroll services. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing end-to-end payroll processes for a portfolio of clients, adhering to strict deadlines and quality standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with Irish payroll legislation and Revenue requirements, staying up-to-date with changes and updates.
  • Providing exceptional customer service, handling employee queries and resolving payroll-related issues efficiently.
  • Preparing accurate and timely payroll reports, maintaining detailed records of all transactions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • 1–2 years' experience in a payroll processing environment, preferably within an accountancy practice or bureau.
  • Knowledge of Irish payroll legislation and Revenue requirements.
  • Experience using payroll software (BrightPay, Sage, or similar).
  • Strong numerical and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
