Job Overview

The Payroll Administrator plays a vital role within the team, working alongside experienced payroll specialists to process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for a diverse client base. This is a dynamic and fast-paced position, perfect for someone who thrives on accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Processing high-volume payrolls for multiple clients
2. Handling payroll-related queries efficiently and professionally
3. Preparing and issuing detailed payroll reports to clients
4. Managing electronic filing and secure distribution of pay records
5. Engaging with clients in a friendly, professional, and supportive manner
6. Resolving client queries with accuracy and a helpful approach
7. Assisting with additional tasks as needed, as directed by the manager or partner

Requirements:

1. Experience in payroll and bookkeeping
2. IPASS Certificate in Payroll Techniques is an advantage
3. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a finance or practice environment
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
5. Professional appearance and approach at all times
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
7. Proficiency in various IT systems, including BrightPay and MS Office
8. A strong team player with a flexible attitude, willing to assist with various tasks as needed

Training and Development:

1. Hands-on coaching and training are essential for building experience
2. Payroll staff are supported in enrolling in accredited courses at recognized colleges
3. Course fees and exam entry may be covered by the firm
4. Study leave and exam leave may be available
