Job Overview

The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for managing month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation and review of journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.

This role involves maintaining understanding of leasing and payroll journals; ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation of lease liabilities and payroll-related transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements in compliance with IFRS or GAAP.
  • Support audits and liaise with auditors.
  • Maintain internal controls and support process improvements; ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to tax reporting, ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations.
  • Lead team members and support their development during handovers or transitions.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Professional accounting certifications.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Eligibility: EU nationals or candidates with a valid work visa.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Xero software.
  • Knowledge of journal entries for wages and leases.
