About the Role
Experienced professionals are sought to manage day-to-day pension administration tasks for defined benefit schemes. Key responsibilities include calculating and processing member benefits, providing clear communication to scheme members, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day pension administration tasks ensuring all activities align with scheme rules and service level agreements (SLAs)
- Calculate and process a wide range of member benefits including retirements transfers and death benefits
- Provide clear empathetic and timely communication to scheme members via phone and email
- Maintain accurate records and case progress on internal systems ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Work closely with team members to meet deadlines and deliver an excellent client experience
- Flag errors complaints or issues promptly so they can be addressed in line with company policy
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a pensions administration role ideally with a focus on Defined Benefit schemes
- A strong customer service ethic with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Organised and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working with pensions software and standard office tools e.g MS Excel Word Outlook
- A team player with a proactive solution-focused approach
