Accounting Role Overview

Morgan Mc Kinley has partnered with an accounting practice in Kerry to hire a talented professional. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality accounting services to diverse SME clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements and working papers in accordance with applicable standards and internal procedures.
  • Lead and conduct audits across a broad client base, adhering to auditing standards and best practices.
  • Prepare corporate and personal tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws.
  • Investigate issues identified during engagements and propose effective solutions.
  • Manage assignments to ensure completion within agreed timelines.
  • Develop strong, professional relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Deliver high-quality work in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in public accounting or general accounting.
  • ACA or ACCA qualification (or in progress).
  • Strong technical knowledge of current accounting and auditing standards.
  • Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present clearly and confidently.
  • A proactive, self-motivated individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
