Bookkeeping and payroll services are essential for the success of our clients.

About This Role

This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong technical skills, practice experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. As a bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing financial records across multiple client accounts, processing bank reconciliations, invoices, and journals, and preparing VAT returns and processing payroll.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate financial records across multiple client accounts.
  • Process bank reconciliations, invoices, and journals.
  • Prepare VAT returns and process payroll.
  • Assist with management accounts and year-end preparation.
  • Liaise with clients to resolve queries and gather documentation.
  • Work with cloud accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage, Quick Books).
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years experience in a practice-based bookkeeping role.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish VAT, payroll, and bookkeeping standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills.
