Financial Accountant Role

We are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join our team. As a qualified accountant, you will be responsible for managing client portfolios and delivering high-quality accounting services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review year-end financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
  • Manage tax compliance including Corporation Tax, Income Tax, VAT, and PAYE
  • Liaise directly with clients to provide advice and resolve queries
  • Oversee bookkeeping and payroll work prepared by junior team members
  • Prepare management accounts and financial reports as required

Requirements:

  • Fully/Part qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CPA)
  • Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in an accountancy practice
  • Excellent knowledge of Irish tax and financial reporting standards
  • Proficient in cloud accounting software (e.g. Xero, Surf, Sage, QuickBooks)

Bonus: Support the implementation of cloud accounting systems where applicable, Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills, Ability to manage multiple clients and meet deadlines
