Job Title: Mechanical Systems Integration Specialist

Description:

As a Mechanical Systems Integration Specialist, you will play a vital role in the successful execution and completion of mechanical systems in various projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • System Evaluation: Conduct thorough inspections and assessments of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, piping, and process systems, to verify compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
  • Documentation Management: Oversee the compilation and review of turnover documentation, including as-built drawings, equipment manuals, inspection reports, and compliance certifications, ensuring all necessary paperwork is accurate and complete.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project engineers, contractors, and operations teams to facilitate smooth communication and coordination regarding mechanical systems, addressing any issues or discrepancies that arise during final inspections and tests.
  • Testing and Commissioning: Collaborate on testing and commissioning activities, ensuring that all mechanical systems are operationally ready and that performance criteria are met.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure that all mechanical systems comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards, conducting audits as necessary to uphold safety and quality benchmarks.
  • Handover Support: Assist in the formal handover process, providing training and support to operations personnel and ensuring they are familiar with system functionalities and maintenance requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements, develop best practices for turnover processes, and contribute to ongoing team training and development initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, relevant experience in mechanical systems integration, project management, or a similar role within the engineering or construction industry, strong knowledge of mechanical design standards, codes, and regulations, proficiency in technical documentation and project management software, excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
