Job Overview

Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled professional to develop and deliver advisory services that support businesses in strengthening their sustainability governance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance on corporate governance and sustainability, ensuring agile and relevant market offerings.
  • Follow regulatory developments and interpret their implications for member companies and the organization.
  • Deliver advisory services to member companies on governance topics and responsible supply chains.
  • Design and deliver collaborative initiatives to support member companies in achieving their goals.
  • Develop and deliver workshops and events on governance topics and responsible supply chains, suitable for senior business leaders and practitioners.
  • Represent the organization externally through speaking, writing articles, and policy submissions.
  • Build and manage partnerships with external stakeholders to support member services.
  • Manage a portfolio of member companies, building trust and engagement, and ensuring they make good use of their membership entitlements.
  • Support business development and funding applications as required.
  • Contribute to the implementation of the organization's 2025-28 Strategy.
  • Enhance internal governance and transparency.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Qualifications: In-depth expertise and thorough knowledge of corporate governance and sustainability, developed through a third-level degree or equivalent qualification.

Experience:

  • Minimum of five years' experience working directly with businesses or in business advisory organizations, in a role responsible for sustainability performance, leadership development, responsible supply chains, or similar.
  • Experience designing and delivering services and interventions that promote sustainability within businesses.
  • Detailed knowledge of EU regulatory landscapes and relevant directives and standards.
  • Thorough understanding of sustainability trends and challenges in an Irish context.
  • Excellent client relationship management skills at senior level.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Desirable Skills and Experience

Postgraduate Specialization: Ideal candidates hold a postgraduate specialization in corporate sustainability, sustainability reporting, sustainable procurement, or human rights.

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience applying best practice frameworks and standards.
  • Public speaking skills and experience representing an organization externally.
  • Experience using CRM systems.
