Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and continuously improve the quality management system in line with ISO/FSSC standards.
  • Act as the site champion for quality, ensuring that all necessary standards are consistently met and exceeded.
  • Lead internal auditing to ensure compliance with ISO/FSSC standards.
  • Manage the HACCP team and oversee allergen management.
  • Conduct daily quality control checks and manage incoming inspections.
  • Oversee hygiene and food safety audits across the site.
  • Collaborate with New Product Development to ensure quality standards in innovation projects.
  • Deliver staff training on QA procedures and good hygiene practices.
  • Maintain sampling plans and coordinate laboratory analysis of raw materials.
  • Manage raw material supplier approval, specifications, and documentation.
  • Investigate customer complaints in a timely manner.
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for regulatory bodies and customers.
  • Participate as a member of the site Health & Safety Team.
  • Present regular updates and insights at team meetings.
Requirements:
  • 4-5 years of experience in a Quality role within FMCG food manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of Food Safety and Quality Management Systems (FSSC22000 & BRC).
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • A mindset focused on continuous improvement with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence teams.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills.
