Job Role Summary

The role involves the setup, calibration and troubleshooting of process instrumentation including temperature, pressure, flow and level gauges. The Calibration Specialist will work with an operations team to facilitate calibration activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain all records in a well-organised manner in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with operational teams as required to ensure calibration procedures are followed.
  • Carry out calibrations in a timely and safe manner.
  • Report work carried out in line with site-based reporting tools.
  • To be available and undertake any site required training.
  • Update scheduled maintenance plans as necessary.
  • Update site database systems as required
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years experience within the industry.
  • A good understanding of calibration systems and automation/controls systems.
  • Proficiency in computer operating systems and applications such as Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and PowerPoint etc.
  • Excellent communication, documentation and interpersonal skills.
Education and Certifications
  • City & Guilds 225 Parts 1, 2 & 3 or Diploma in Industrial Automation and Controls or Applied Physics and Instrumentation.
  • Proof of education, licenses and certifications may be required where applicable.
